Talk:Portfire

Has anyone modified a thin portfire with several coats of NC lacquer to seal it from water? I have associates who swear by this method, and it mimics the waterproofing of visco fuse so it seems possible.

I do this and it works well. It also seems to add to the paper´s ignitablity. By the way, good corrections, sorry for some bad mistakes. I´m just unsure about one thing: Meal powder and mealed gunpowder is not the same as far as I know. The latter is basically good quality milled grains and is far more dense and faster burning than a simple meal as it leaves the mill. We should agree upon the meaning of these terms, some articles seem to use them ambiguously.

Yeah thats a major error on my part, somehow when I was doing FoUp's it totally escaped me. Will fix.
